SpirOps is a company fully dedicated to research and development in artificial intelligence. It's a unique model that combines the freedom of research subjects (whether applied or fundamental) with industrial development for application purposes.
Over the years since 2004 we have refined our research to focus mainly on the modelling of human intelligence; the central research topic has become 'understanding'; in other words, modelling the 'conscious' functioning of the human brain, as opposed to 'unconscious' or 'involuntary' functioning such as image perception or sound recognition.
The research team is led by Axel Buendia, a doctor in Artificial Intelligence. He works in collaboration with labs such as CEDRIC (CNAM), IIMLab (International Institute of Multimedia), LIMSI (CNRS) or LIP6 (Paris 6). They focus on virtual reality, simulation, robotics, and video game applications.
The development team is led by Jerome Hoibian, a senior video games lead programmer (Polygon Studio, 4X Studio).
The team is well trained to work on industrial applications and will be a bridge between you and Artificial Intelligence technologies, by providing the production tools you need.
